North Shore...For Sure?...MY NEW THOUGHTS AFTER EPISODE 8

Okay...okay... the previews for "Burned" were not as I expected the episode to be like. I guess if they showed the house on fire at the end, and M.J. with Tray it would have been better (Tray with harpoon on M.J's Boyfriend (I forget his name LOL)


Okay...this episode was lame. Lam-o. Lame! However, things mdade me wonder...is this the end? This is so lame? Is there a cliffhanger?


I am guessing that M.J. and the kidnapping plot stunk big time. The harpoon was good, but stupid. If they showed that in the previews for the episode, the episode would have had more viewers (((More suspenseful than M.J.'s boyfriend going out in traffic from being pushed))).


I did NOT like Nichole getting drunk and her kissing Frankie. The previews made me think that the two were getting together (((Now this could have been an obstacle in Jason's way after he dumps Tessa...but oh-well...I guess the writers did not care to do that))).


HOWEVER, I must give the writers credit. This was by far the best episode of the series so far. It was lame, overall, but the ending, even though not "Cliffhanger" material, seemed okay. It made me believe...."Nichole's father did the fire"...then the police say it was Arson. OKAY. OKAY. OKAY. LAME-O!


BUT...When I saw who is coming onto North Shore I thought....GREAT! Finally, a familliar face! I give the writers and casting people credit! SHANEEN DOHERTY MAKES HER RETURN TO FOX ON NORTH SHORE! Now I never guessed she, or anyone "known" was coming. However, the previews sucked BIG TIME.


Of course Tessa will go to Nichole's father to help her get Jason all to herself. Of course everyone will suspect Nichole's father for the fire. However, Shaneen MAY POSSIBLY (As Heather Lockelear did for Melrose Place) Save the show. Maybe she will be billed as a SGS (Special Guest Star).


Now...the show is still not hot. It is getting better, but it's too lame. Things close TOO FAST. Okay...how about MJ on the beach and then the Harpoon and leave it at that for that storyline/ Cliffhanger to be resolved in September... BUT NO....THEY RESOLVED IT TOO QUICK!


KIMKONG....YOU GET IT DONT YOU? A SOAP NEEDS CLIFFHANGERS. THE CLIFFHANGER WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THEY JUST STOPPED WITH THE HARPOON SCENE AND MADE FANS WONDER IF HE WOULD SHOOT HIM OR NOT? HOWEVER, THE ENDING WASN'T THAT BIG OF A CLIFFHANGER. OKAY...JASON'S FATHER IS HURT, MAYBE DYING...BUT I DOUBT IT. IF HE DOES...HE'S NOT A MAJOR CHARACTER, ANYWAYS.



Episode rating in my opinion....7/10. If they ended the MJ scene witht he Harpoon it would have boosted my overall to 8/10. BUT ALL THE OTHER EPISODES ARE 5 OR LOWER IN MY OPINION. THIS IS A BIG LEAP FOR NS...JUST HOPE THEY STAY WITH CONTINUING STORYLINES AND CLIFFHANGERS THAT ARENT RESOLVED TOO FAST/BY END OF EPISODE AND IT WILL BE WORTHY OF "SOAP MATERIAL".
