How You Can Tell The CD You Bought Is Going To Be Bad - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Some telltale signs on how you know the CD you just bought is going to bite:

1. The artist only has one name.

2. The bonus tracks could have made up a separate album.

3. The album was recorded after 1979 (when digital mixing was invented), and the label on the shrink wrap says, "Digitally remastered from the original analog tapes."

4. It bears a label on the shrink wrap that says, "THE NEW ALBUM! FROM THE BAND'S ORIGINAL LINEUP!"

5. It's a live album whose title ends in Roman numerals (unless it's from Neil Diamond

).

6. The record company's name refers to a neighborhood known for its dangerous public housing projects.

7. It was recorded in Montserrat without George Martin producing it.

8. It's from a sixties artist, and the shrink wrap label says: (number of tracks) NEW (name of artiste) CLASSICS!" (Or, it's from an art-rock supergroup and bears a label saying "Four of rock's greatest virtuosos together for the first time!" - and it's on Arista.)

9. It's a duets album without Julio Iglesias or Bono.

10. The artist is from Orlando.
