Red face Rick James has died!

Reported on CNN about 5 minutes ago. Found dead at his home in Los Angeles.

Aw, that's sad. How old was he? What happened to him?

Not sure about his age, but he's not that old. Associated Press says it was natural causes.

CNN just said "apparent heart attack". Probably brought on by drugs.

He was 56(older than I thought).

So so sad. R.I.P Rick

They should show this episode of Chapelle Show tonight:

What did the five fingers say to the face ?

*SLAP*

Iam Rick James, bi**h!!!

Hey Charlie Murphy !!!

Cocaine is a hell of a drug *chuckles*

Rick James :CHARLIE MURPHY! What's happening, partner! DARKNESS, EVERYONE, DARKNESS! HEY EVERYBODY, DARKNESS IS
SPREADING!

Charlie Murphy : Because of my complexion, he use to call me Darkness. He calls me and brother Darkness. The Darkness Brothers. See, this is long before Wesley Snipes. Back then... we was the blackest ni**as on the planet according to Rick James.

Rick James: DRINK UP, BE MERRY! Welcome to the China Club - A-CHUNGA-CHUNG-KUNG-A-CHINGA-KUNG-KAW-CHING!
Rick James : Bi***es! Come over here and show Charlie Murphy yo titties!
[women lift up their shirts]
Rick James : The milks gone bad!

Rick James That was 'cold-blooded'!
[grinding his muddy boots into Eddie Murphy's new couch]
Rick James : F**k yo couch, n***a! F**k yo couch!

Rick James : [as Charlie and Eddie Murphy beat up on his legs] YOU DARKNESS, YOU BLACK - LATE NIGHT - EVIL MOTHA****AS - BLACK MAGIC, DARKNESS! YOU RAW... DARKNESS... YOU... DELIRIOUS... MOTHA****AS. YOU WAS COLD AS ICE.

Charlie Murphy : [narrating] But still, after taking a beating like that, Rick's like...

Rick James : F**k yo couch, n***a.

[after two women had showed him their breasts]
Rick James: I wish I had more hands, so I could give those titties four thumbs down!
Rick James: They shoulda never given you *****s money.

Real Rick James : See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.
[pause]
Real Rick James :Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.

Rick James : B**ch... Come over here and have sex with Charlie Murphy.
Rick James : I'm Rick James, b**ch.
[Rick claps twice]

I was shocked when I saw that he died in the AOL news when it popped up online..He just got big again because of Chapelle's Show.It was obvious...a bunch of people in my school said "I'm Rick James b*tch." a lot. It's really sad.Now he can never be in Chapelle's Show again.

I only know or remember two songs by him, Super Freak and Give It To Me Baby.I like Give It To Me Baby more by far.Super Freak is good.If it wasn't for Rick James, MC Hammer would have never had the Super Freak background music sampled for "U Can't Touch This", one of the few raps I like.

R.I.P Rick James

its sooo sad because 2 years ago at my 8th grade graduation he was there cause his grandaughter or niece or someone went to my school it was sad cause he had all these people surrounding him and you could tell he was happy about all the attention he was stirring up-no im not claimin to know him or have talked to him believe me or not- but anyway its sad that he died but i also think it was because of drugs im glad i got to see him before he died though he really is a music legend

Maybe I heard it...that's why I said I only know OR remember. The title doesn't ring a bell.I'll look up the lyrics.

Stupid VH1 made me think he was a One Hit Wonder because of Super Freak on the One Hit Wonders show. That's why I was surprised not too long ago he made Give It To Me Baby because that was obviously a hit.I read he also had other hits and was very successful.Didn't make sense VH1 put him on that list.
