Default Horrible Hairstyle, Awful Wardrobe

(This is one of my unconstructive threads.)

Who on the show had a horrible hairstyle and/or awful wardrobe?

Diane:
-That perm....ew.
-Those ugly dresses in season 5 - especially the one with the bows in "Dinner at Eightish."

Frasier:
-I hate it when his hair is long and curly.
-Terrible 80s sweaters later in the series....or was that Sam??

I'll let you guys bash the rest of the cast.

Ditto Chambers! Though I like Sam's blue shirt in the early episodes, his sweaters were pretty weird & kinda ugly, much like the shirts worn by Bill Cosby on the Cosby show. &

Yeah.
The sweaters worked on Cosby - but come on...Sam was supposed to be a hunk.

Frasier's hair was very funny.
For instance "Im running with scissors!!" wouldntve been nearly as funny if he had short hair.

Frasier's Hair and Carla's hair (at times)

Lilith's hair was flawless

Diane's perm - yuck! - my mom used to get my hair permed when I was little - I hated it!!!! - Fantastic Sam's - I should have torched the place!

Diane's blue puffy blouses from first season - looked a little Robin Hood-ish to me.

Carla's hair and wardrobe was kinda bad.

Diane's buttoned up to the neck blouses were horrendous.

Well, now I realize that Frasier's hair served a purpose. After all, he was depressed most of the time, and depressed people don't get haircuts.

Carla's look fit her character, so that never really bothered me.

But I still cannot excuse Diane's perm. Ew ew ew. However, her button-up-to-the-neck blouses (though really ugly) suited her character. Some of her skirts were awful too - especially the plaid ones in season one.

Forgot about Rebecca's shoulder pad outfits - they fit Rebecca's style and character, but damn were they ever ugly.

I think the people with the best wardrobe (in terms of having it reflect their character) were Lilith, Norm and Cliff.

(I didn't like Norm's quasi-afro in the later seasons. He should always keep his hair SHORT.)

One thing that I noticed was that for a number of Lilith's early episode, she wore the same...freaking...outfit.
Grey skirt, red blouse, grey jacket.
She wears it in Abnormal Psychology, she wears it at the beginning of "Dinner at Eight-ish" and I think she wears it at the beginning of "Bidding on the Boys" as well. Like, christ, is her wardrobe budget really that limited?
Her hair in "Bidding on the Boys" is abnormally...large, too, and that bothers me. I'm afraid of the 80's.

And I think that wardrobe choices were all around terrible in "Dinner at Eight-ish." Diane's sweater at the beginning, her terrible dress during dinner, as well as Lilith wearing bright blue with bright red. Who does that?!

Eeeek.

You can NOT beat those 80's cartoons - Jem and the Hallograms, Beetlejuice, My Little Ponies, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Noozles, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Transformers, Ducktales, He-man, Shera...

*sigh* I miss the GREATS!

Was Fraggle Rock in the eighties? I loved that show, one of the best theme songs ever for a cartoon IMHO. And what about shows like Mr. Dressup, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? I don't know exactly when they started but they were my favorites.

I remember when I was about 5, my best friend's brother was obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My parents never let me watch it, but it was fine with me. There was also Power Rangers that they never let me watch. Recently I watched both shows while babysitting and thought "Wow I really never missed out on anything..."
