Default Favorite Moonlighting dance scene

What's your favorite Moonlighting dance scene?

I have two in mind. I will start it off with the one in the pilot. I love the dancing in the bar -- the way he smells her hair, the pure beauty of Maddie/Cybill (WOW--what a drop dead gorgeous woman), the vulnerability of both characters. I can watch that scene over and over and over again.

Cool Favorite Moonlighting Dance Sequence

My favorite dance sequence would have to be Bruce dancing with both Sandahl Bergman and Cybill in the musical dream sequence in Big Man on Mulberry Street.

This is a good question... and one I don't think has been asked before....

The Pilot dance is a good one and so are many others. Here is a dance scene that I don't think too many think about, but I think is really special:

M&D dancing together at the baby shower in Womb with a View.... at that moment they are both so happy and seem to finally be on the same wavelength about their relationship. This is just a very brief scene minutes before all hell breaks loose and tragedy strikes....but in that one glimpse at them together, smiling, laughing, happy....we get a sense of what they mean to each other and how much happiness and love there really is between them.

I love that scene too Cindy. It seems there is finally some peace between them. No banter, no problems, just them together. Untill hell breakes loose.

ooooh Cindy, now you wanna make me watch this episode again I'm going to watch it again right now!

greets Steph

Oh God... I love and hate that scene... Bah, it's a beautiful one, really, but like you said, it's too painful.

I always cry every time I watch it. It's exactly like you said, Cindy. It's honestly the only time I ever saw them together as a simple couple, having fun, dancing... And of course the one of the only times I've seen Maddie so relax, just enjoying the moment, not thinking about anything... She seems so happy... That's why I consider this episode the most cruel of all. It was a crime to do what they did (the writers, I mean). They wanted to make it less painful with all that "Dave/baby thing" but for me, it didnt work out, really. I feel so bad every time I watch it... It's a very sad episode, and like I said I always cry.

You know what? I was talking about that part (the dance) with a friend who didn't remember it well, so I cutted (cut o cutted?? mmmm da*n poor english) those parts for her. So I have them all together. They're just seconds, but they seem marvellous together. But like I said before, It's a very sad part, I just can't believe they ended the baby thing like they did.

The Pilot was really good and so was Big Man on Mulberry Street. But I think my favorite is the dancing at the end of The Son Also Rises after David's father's wedding. It was very sexy and had some cute banter. I think this episode inched them together a little closer. I also liked the song Sweet Love while they're dancing. The lyrics were perfect.

Bullseye Cindy!!

That's my favourite dance-scene too!
That's one time where you can really see the love between them!
They're having so much fun together! And there is one look........
when Maddie turns right back in his arms they share ONE look that makes you melt!
Love it!

I loved the dance scene in Womb also. But then the story turned...and the show went to h e l l, IMO. It seemed each new episode had them going in a different direction. Were they a couple or weren't they? You never knew which way to view them. All I did know was that I didn't give a darn about the cases they needed to solve -- I just wanted them together.

Ditto over here! That's the reason why I didn't like the Agnes and Bert episodes

Cybr, I agree Big Man On Mulberry Street was a cool dance....but honestly it wasn't so much dancing between Maddie and David as it was just hot, hot mouth action. Maddie really lets loose on him in that fantasy, doesn't she?

I think that's why I didn't rank BMOMS as my favorite dance scene. It is great and shows off Bruce very well, but since Cybill didn't come in til the end, I think there are others between them that show their chemistry better. (Although that lip action at the end was pretty spectacular.) I'm still sticking with The Son Also Rises as a fave. Womb with a View, on the other hand, had a nice dance scene but the impending doom kind of ruins it for me. I have lots of issues with WWAV, but that's for another thread.

I think it's still got to be the dance scene in the pilot for me. You can pretty much see how David feels about her from the beginning. And I LOVE Lenny Welch singing Since I fell for u. Wonderful song!!

Another dance which says a lot, but which is heartbreaking is in Brother, can you spare a blonde, where Dave watches Maddie danced with Richie.....gulp!

Agree about the WWAV scene, it starts off so wonderfully, and then BAM! it becomes miserable. I still think they could have shown Baby Hayes in the womb learning about his parents without the horrible ending....

I agree on that! The dance shows so much love and happiness but then the miscarriage....... I hated that scene!
I must say that to me the scene was played very realistic by both of them and you can see the terror in Dave's eyes!
I like the hospital scene (made me cry) but that's for a new WWAV thread.

Absolutely...that one's great, and probably my favorite dance scene.

Also, I forget the title, but don't they dance in a laundromat in one episode?
