I was in a few stores that were selling the Soap DVDs and I was reading the plots and they sounded outrageous!

Was this a real sitcom or like a sketch show?

& where is this show currently airing?

I might buy the DVDs if I get a good impression of the show by watching it first

SOAP is a satire of soap operas. It is indeed a sitcom, though. It's not airing anywhere currently.
