Do you think "The Lucy Show" will ever been released on DVD in season?

I think so, but not for a long time because they will probably release all of "I Love Lucy" and then "The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour." It just seems like they take forever to release "I Love Lucy." I wish they would go faster.

Let me know your thoughts.

It totally depends on Paramount. They own the rights to the show, and will only release it if they think that enough people would be interested in buying it. They've only recently begun releasing the first seasons of some of their most requested series (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, The Andy Griffith Show) and unfortunately, The Lucy Show isn't nearly as popular as those.

I know that I, for one, would love to purchase season sets of The Lucy Show. I've purchased all of the public domain episodes that have been released. And while I enjoy watching them, it would be nice to see cleaner, properly edited, authorized prints; especially more of the black & white episodes. *sigh* One can only hope.
