Default CD-Rs

What brand do you use? I currentlu use Memorex, but for the past several months only 50-60 percent of the mutiple packs I've bought have been usable, and I've had to throw out the rest! Looks like I'll be buying TDK and Sony CD-rs from now on.

Me, neither. They're a bit more expensive, but they're really the best quality out there.

I have this thing for TDK. I've used other discs but TDK is my preference. They work well for me.

Memorex has worked best for me, Maxell in the other hard... ... terrible. As for CD-RW's, I prefer to use TDK.

I've actually never bothered with CD-RWs. Has anyone else?

I have. I used to have a portable Panasonic cd player that was able to play cd-rw discs. Traveling to and from work, I'd always have music with me. I'd use the disc to burn cds of whatever 15-18 songs I'd been listening to most at the time, erase the disc then burn a new collection when I was tired of the old one. Those discs came in handy when making a compilation that you knew you didn't want to keep. Instead of burning and finalizing a cd-r, you could use the cd-rw as often as you wanted.

I don't really care about the burning speed imprinted on the packaging, as I always burn at 4x (the slowest speed possible with my burner) to avoid jitter.

I have Maxell, and they're good. The sound quality is pretty decent.

I HATE Memorex with a passion. I had a pack of 50, and I think 15 of them were usable. Waste of time and money
