Two of my favorite sit-com quotes come from "Benson". I wonder
if anyone can give me the exact quote for one of them. The first is from Benson himself when asked if he wanted to go skiing. He replied, "Skiing. That's where you strap two boards to your feet and come down the mountain 60 miles an hour with no brakes, no thank you." (My thoughts about skiing exactly!) The second is from the Governor. He was having a rather heated (for him) discussion with someone from the state legislature, I believe. The Senator (?) asked something to the effect, "Are you implying that I'm lying, Governor?" and the Gov. replied, "No. I'm implying no such thing. I'm saying it. You're lying." This is the quote I would like to find in its original and exact wording. No, I don't know the episode name. Any help would be appreciated. |
