Standup comedian Ray Romano stars as Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter who deals with brother and his parents, who happen to live across the street. Frank (Peter Boyle, While You Were Sleeping) and Marie (Doris Roberts, Remington Steele) love to meddle in his life while older brother, Robert (Brad Garrett, Suicide Kings), sometimes resents his success. Nevertheless, Ray manages to keep a bright outlook and a sense of humor as he balances his family and work life.
HBO Home Video has announced that they will release the second season of Everybody Loves Raymond on December 14th! Not bad considering the first season is still a month and a half away. The set will contain all 25 episodes and retail for $44.98 US. Expect special features to include a blooper reel, deleted scenes and audio commentaries with Ray Romano and Phil Phil Rosenthal (creator).
