Default Don't you hate it when...

people say they hate something before they even watch/hear/get to know it?

For some reason, it just annoys the jeepers out of me... like, today I went out with some friends, and we were at a CD/DVD store, and I saw a season set for Friends... and I said "ooh, i wanna get it", and then she goes and talks about how Friends is stupid, overrated, dumb, and pointless, and then ends it off with a "I don't even watch it"

Also, my aunt EwI tell her that I am purchasing tickets to the American Idols Live concert, and then she gives me this 30 minutes speech about why American Idol is dumb, yet she hasn't watched it

So basically, just a tip for you all, DONT JUDGE SOMETHING WITHOUT GETTING TO KNOW ABOUT IT.

THE END.

I never really watched AI but I don't like it. FOX constantly pre-empts my shows when they move this show around the schedule. As for Friends, I've never really liked it and I actually did watch it for a year until I found something better to watch-in that case it was Promised Land .

I feel that way when people talk about horror/classic movies. There's nothing wrong with not being a fan of either, but please don't say you 'hate' them if you've never even taken the time to watch them.

This is the same reason why I hate when people decide whether to watch a movie or not simply because of a critic's opinion.

Right now, I have better things to worry about than whether or not someone's opinion is based on actually having seen a show/movie. Besides, sometimes you can make an opinion just on a commercial.

Well I can understand that because I dont like most stuff on TV now and I havent seen it.... I know I dont like it because its made with the reprogrammed robots of today which I care nothing of really........... (I can just look outside and see them in action)

So to me,its understandable how someone could say that w/o watching something......
