Post Goodbye Chrissy, Hello Cindy!

Tonight we say goodbye to Chrissy, and hello to Cindy on Three's Company tonight. I personally thought that Cindy was the best character on the show. She was the prettiest and way smarter then Chrissy. I thought that Jenilee was a great actress.

Thank You. Someone finally agrees with me. Be careful there are others that don't feel the same way we do.

Yeah, but Jenilee sure has aged over the years. She looks way older today, and she hasn't been doing too much acting either. The most recent thing I saw her in was an infomercial for an ab-roller or something like that.

Granted Cindy is not my most favorite character, but some of the episodes she was in were really funny, for example the one about the farm. Fans of TC don't give her enough credit. I liked Cindy, maybe more than Teri at times. It takes a good actress to be able to play comedy and drama, a good example of her dramtic skills, the soap opera Dallas which she played a semi-major character on.

You have to give the Cindy character some credit. Just think how many times a replacement character has brought death to a sitcom ie. the dreaded Oliver from Brady Bunch. I think Cindy gave Jack many opprtunities to be hilarious thru slapstick. The ironing board scene was excellent.

I'm glad to see some people taking a liking to Cindy, finally.

Sad

I was so mad when they stopped showing the episodes with the Ropers and Chrissy and replaced them with Cindy episodes. That girl wasn't funny at all. She's a klutzy fool!

Granted, Cindy wasn't nearly as good as the early Chrissy, but the later Chrissy (platinum hair and no brain) was awfully annoying. And at least Cindy has some personality, unlike her replacement, Terri, whom the writers never figured out what to do with.

The real problem is that the chemistry between Jack, Janet, and Chrissy during the first three seasons (before Chrissy had a lobotomy) was really unique. You got the sense that they were really friends. That feeling was never as strong with the other combinations of roommates.

Well it's hello Teri now, thanks to nickatnite with their episode skipping. Did they show the one where the gang goes to Cindy's aunt's farm or did they skip it this time around? They showed it last time, but late at night.

factsfanatic: Nick at Nite didn't skip ANY episodes. The episode where they go to Cindy's Farm is coming up soon.
Nick at Nite shows every Three's Company episode but 2 and they are 124: Paradise Lost and 144: Going to Pot, BUT 144 is airing this time around!
So it is down to 1!
I know they have not been skipping since I track TC on N@N everyday, I even have archives dating back to Day 1 on Nick at Nite, check out http://jacksbistro.freeservers.com

I don't know but for some reason, the show was funnier when Cindy was on it. I thought Cindy was the best BLONDE roomate. Terri was ok but Chrissy i never really liked her character.
