As a Sanford and Son fan, I always enjoyed the episodes that featured Julio's Mom. She was feisty and opinionated and stood up to Fred. She really got him good with her "indoor junkyard" comment.
i would have liked to have seen more of her on the show. She was in some ways better than Esther, Esther always had the same comebacks. Also, seeing Lamont get engaged to Julio's sister would have been funny, Fred would have flipped!!! later guys.

I loved the episode when Fred moves to the flop house.
Before he leaves the house...he sees Julio, his mother, Lamont and the goat in the yard. Fred: "There they are..the new business partners. Fuentes..Fuentes...Chico...and Dummo!" |

Julio's relatives were always funny. It was always a treat when they were on - especially when Fred and Mrs. Fuentes would lock horns.
