Default There are too many boards

Yes too many. Most of the boards here are barely frequented. There aren't enough members to support the number of boards. They should be consoledated.

There shoud be one board for 60s sitcoms, one for 70s sitcoms, one for 80s sitcoms, and one for 90s sitcoms. Cancelled shows should not have their own board. This way you concentrate the members into a smaller number of boards thus increasing the activity.

If TJ took away boards than people would say that they wanted them back. IMO, there arent too many boards, there are a lot of TV shows there and we cant just leave them out. If we had one board for ALL 60s sitcoms, one board for all 70s sitcoms, 80s, 90s, ect, then a lot of fights would break out because people dont all like the same show. I like the way it is now.

People are always going to want things. Doesn't mean they should have them.

There aren't going to be any fights. What you will have is more participation. If you post a thread about a tv show, the thread will actually be seen and replied to.

There is only one movie board, yet you don't see people fighting over not liking the same movie.

Well I woundt like that at all, I think its a horrrible set-up.
Its much better the way it is now. When you run a message board about sitcoms and have to make boards about sitcoms, you cant just have 5 boards.

Yes you can.

There aren't enough participating members to support more than that.

What are you talking about? Theres like 5000 members. EVERY board cant be active at every time. If we took away all the boards that havent been actvive at times, we wouldnt have any boards. Usually, its the shows that arent currently airing that have inactive boards.

And I was just posting my opinion. When you post a thread here people are going to disagree with you, and if you cant handle it, than dont post things here.

If a board isn't active it shouldn't exist. If someone wants to discuss a show, they shouldn't have to post a thread in a board that no one goes to. There should be one board that includes all shows of that decade.

Im not going to bother to read your last post because obviously it will be pointless. How about you read my quote again and read those magical letters "IMO"

Sorry about interrupting your fight IMO, Rurry is right. I mean, we could certainly take away a few boards that haven't been visited for a few months. But making ONE board for a decade of shows? That's just crazy. People will start saying that one show is better than another, and then everyone will complain, and too much negative stuff would happen. It just seems to me as if there are more con's than pros in this.

I like the set up we have now. It is perfect. I have the option to go to several different boards about several different shows. Who cares if they aren't constantly active.
