Default Parking permits

For those of you in high school, how much does it cost for you to park in your school parking lot?

At my school, it used to be $15 a year. But this year they raised it to $100 a year. It figures, the year I get to drive to school....

20 dollars here. They pay a security guard to sit out there in a van all day and sleep. He doesn't do anything. The only thing he does is yell at innocent people like myself. He flipped out once because he couldn't see my sticker when he was a mile away and then he blamed it all on me. *******.

It's free. But student parking is limited so we got to fight for our spots.

It was $10 when I was in HS. I think it was $15 last year [after I graduated]...but I know it had to be much higher than that when my sis was in HS (1996-2000) because the student parking lot was in bad shape at the time, and they had it repaved just before I started HS. Now they raised it because the dumbass HS I went to spends way too much money on unnecessary crap, and they're in debt.

I know what that is like. The football team here are gods. They spent millions of dollars to be the only HS in IN that has astro turf. And now they're getting a 2 million dollar outdoor locker room. I hope they lose every game.

Ohhh God...don't get me started on that. MEAAAAANGYA. My senior year, they had to raise the prices on EVERYthing because of the mascot controversy we had (The Satans). The stupid school board had the controversy over SUMMER VACATION and then decided to get rid of the mascot a WEEK before school started. Meangya...They spent a TON of money replacing sports and cheerleader uniforms so they wouldn't have "Satans" on them.

And the ****ing sports teams at the HS I went to SUCK MAJOR ASS!!!!! Oh yeah, what a fun year that was...

Meangya...Astroturf and a $2 mil outdoors locker room at your school? WTF are they smoking?

I never paid a dime. Some people (mostly band people) got permits to park on the north lot by the band room, but everyone else parked in the south lot for free.

Yeah we're slowly losing money. They raised the price of driver's ed from $50 to $250.

I love it though...We're on the academic warning list and in a few years our school is going to be taken over by the government because everyone is so stupid, yet when we get money, instead of doing something academic with it, the first thing we do is buy a nice, big, shiny, electric scrolling sign thingy for in front of the school.

Not ours. It cost $90 when I was in HS. I think it was $95 last year.

I was denied parking rights at my school because I was absent so much in my Junior year. Oh well, it wasn't like I was gonna park anywhere anyway. I don't drive.

the school I went to last year only had like 150 kids and you didnt need parking permits.

Half way through I transferred to Pullman Alt., but I had to go to the real highschool (Which had about 700 kids) in the morning for 2 weeks for standardized tests, I guess I was supposed to get a free parking permit there but I never did.

I also parked in the senior spots I think, I'm not entirely sure.

The Alt. school I go to is on campus though, so I either buy a WSU parking permit, take the bus, or get a ride from a parent.
