Yahoo problems? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My yahoo email wouldn't work- I'd sign in and it would either go to my inbox then go back to my homepage or say 'invalid password' and go to homepage. Is this happening with any of you?

I haven't had any problems so far, but the left frame in my inbox did look screwed up in Firefox (it wasn't screwed up-looking before). I went to IE and opened my Yahoo email from there and the frame looked fine.

Just tried it, in Firefox (I've got dummy e-mail accounts all across the internet, natch). Worked fine.

It must be my computer- I tried logging into hotmail and same thing happened.

Tried Hotmail...Only problem there is that 2 MB is ridiculous.

Maybe your browser has a bug (hijacking, cookie issues......)

Yahoo had a virus last week. Google had a virus a couple a days ago.

Hotmail is going to increase their e-mail storage capacity to 250 MB and is going to increase the size you can send file attachments to 10 MB. These changes will be in effect sometime this fall.

Google and Yahoo were both attacked by a particularly ruthless strain of the MyDoom virus earlier this week. The problems you are experiencing with Yahoo are probably related to this.
Yahoo should be up and running properly again in a few days or so.

I have 10MB in mine, but that's because I still have the same email address I signed up with way back in early 1998.

This is reason 1 I'm quite happy with Gmail. By the time Hotmail, et al finishes their upgrades, I'll *still* have more storage space :-P

Good the 2mb thing is insane, I haven't had any problems with my Yahoo account
