Season Three- (25)Betrayal: Coach, Elizabeth, JR, and Sherry go to a drive-in, Cindy and Wendy go out on dates, and Marie and Connie stay home. While at the movies Coach (after saying he isn’t effected by horror movies) throws up all over the place which disgusts Sherry, but JR doesn’t mind a bit. Cindy’s date last night (Cort) tells her that he’ll take her to a concert. Just before the concert, he calls and cancels on Cindy, but goes out with Wendy. After Marie trying to clue in Cindy all night long, Cindy finally sees that Wendy went out with her boyfriend. Marie comes up with an idea to teach Wendy a lesson by Cindy trying to seduce Wendy’s boyfriend. This just erupts in a huge fight amongst the sisters. Then Wendy and Cindy decide that they were better off without listening to Connie and Marie.

- (26)Quarterback Sneak: Coach Lubbock’s new starter quarterback is what is going to lead the hippos to victory. This quarterback (Todd) has a huge crush on Wendy. He plays extremely well and goes out on a date with Wendy. However Wendy doesn’t want to see him anymore, but doesn’t have the nerve to tell him. Marie tells him that Wendy doesn’t want to go out with him anymore. Todd is disappointed and plays horribly. Graham has to do something about it, so he asks Wendy to go out on a date with him (he claims it is “God’s Plan). This works, and Todd plays very well the next game (too well). So he tell Wendy that she can’t go out with him. The problem is that Wendy actually likes him now, and doesn’t want to stop going out with him. Elizabeth comes in, and finds out and gets enraged at Graham. Graham promises never to meddle in Wendy’s love life, but the next second he is out there yelling at Todd.

- (27)Who Cut the Cheese: The food bank that Elizabeth volunteers at has give the Lubbocks food because they make so little money per year. In order to pick up a little cash, Graham picks up a job at Burger Barn. His supervisor (assistant manager) is Gavin Doosler. Connie is the only one who knows that Graham works at Burger Barn, and he wants to keep it that way. Everyone else finds out, and Graham thinks it is Wendy (who just went to the drive through), but Elizabeth found out before from the stains in Graham’s clothes.

- (28)Risky Business: JR starts a fight with Sherry, and in the process the break Elizabeth’s best China. Coach Lubbock brings all of the kids into town to sale their candy. JR and Sherry go to the China store and find out that all of the China they need cost $185! In order to come up with the money. Sherry comes up with an idea to sale the candy bars for $2.00 instead of the $1.00 that they are supposed to sale the candy bars for. Everything goes off without a hitch, right? Wrong. JR picks up the wrong pattern, thinking that he could afford better ones because they made more money. Elizabeth thinks Graham bought her new Chinaware. Father Hargis and Father Bud come by to congratulate them on selling so many chocolate bars! However, Father Hargis finds out that the kids sold the chocolate bars for more than $1.00. Father Hargis gets a bright idea thinking he can sell them for $6.00 next year and leaves. While Elizabeth makes JR and Sherry wash the dishes.

- (29)A Couple of Sweets: After Hooter goes to the vet and finds out he needs to go on a diet, Elizabeth encourages Graham to go on a diet. Cindy is also on a diet. So they decide to diet together! Graham tries to stick to the diet, but he really wants an ice cream or a hamburger. However Elizabeth has given pictures of Graham all over town so no one will give him food. Graham goes to the school, and eats all of their food. Elizabeth forgives him, and says she’ll always support him.

- (30)Simple Gifts: The church is in need of a choir, and Elizabeth volunteers to take charge and get it going. Elizabeth takes this position hoping that her girls “Lubbock Babes” would like to be a part of it. Elizabeth holds auditions at her house, and finally gets the choir that she wants. However, during practice she gets so frustrated and says that anyone who wants to socialize or are being there because they have to believe. After she has a talk with Graham she realizes that she was wrong, and that it wasn’t important why they were there but that they were just there. At mass Elizabeth sings alone, and then her family comes up and joins her, friends also come up.

- (31)That Championship Season: Coach Lubbock and his football team make it to the championships. Graham goes to grade the tests only to find out that his star quarterback, has failed his exam. Graham can’t decide what to do. At the very last minute, Coach decided to the right thing and pull Murphy (star quarterback) out of the game. To replace him they put in Gavin Doosler. The whole school, including Father Hargis are angry at Graham. The only one pleased with his decision is Elizabeth. Elizabeth presents Graham with his own trophy.

- (32)Dangerous Liason: After performing at the pizza place, a strange man (not to Wendy) offers her beer. This man takes Wendy out for a ride. However, during their ride they stop and this man robs a convenience store. Wendy of course had nothing to do with this, though it does look like she did. Fortunately there was a surveillance camera, and that proved that Wendy was not guilty. Wendy and Graham try to pound through Wendy’s head that what she did was absolutely wrong. Wendy keeps making things worse by opening her mouth when she shouldn’t. At the end of the night, Wendy finally gets her wrongs, and realizes that her parents are just there to help and guide her.

- (33)St Augie’s Blues (1): Connie is trying to write an article about Janitor Bob, and in the meantime Graham is upset that Father Hargis is getting so many new things, while the school teachers need a raise. Graham is persuasive to get a raise, and Father Hargis finally gives in. Graham gets his raise! Connie is having trouble with her article. Graham tells his family that there will be a 10% increase. Sherry tells Connie that she should write a story on the tuition increase. She does this, and everyone is in an uproar about this! Connie is so obsessed about getting an article in the newspaper, she starts spying on her dad while him and teachers are talking. In turn of these recent events, Father Hargis finds a realtor to sell the house. Graham thinks that this is all a joke, but when he confronts Father Hargis, Father Hargis tells him that this is no joke.

- (34)St. Augie’s Blues (2): Graham breaks the news to the kids that they are losing the house. Everyone in the family turns against Connie. Connie writes another article that just gets the whole family even more in trouble. From Connie’s article, the teacher’s turn against Graham. Father Hargis throws together a Parent-Teacher Summit. During this time a fight breaks out, and Connie decides to go in and make a tearful apology. Connie realizes that she was just doing this for her own good, and didn’t think about anyone else around her. This apology brings both sides together (the teachers and parents). The Lubbocks do not have to sale their house!

- (35)Skateboard: JR begs his parents for a good skateboard. When his birthday comes around Graham presents JR with a homemade skateboard. JR pretends to have been mugged (by “Canadians”), but he really just is embarrassed by his dad’s skateboard. JR totally plays his whole family by pretending he is extremely hurt by losing the homemade skateboard. Elizabeth finds the skateboard in the trash can. JR tells his dad the whole truth (after Graham had been working late at night for three weeks). Graham takes the news very hard. However, Graham understands because his father did something similar to him.

- (36)Highway to Heaven: Marie and Elizabeth head off for two weeks at the convent. Along the way the car breaks down. Marie is having second thoughts about becoming a nun, and Elizabeth starts to become aware of that. Elizabeth realizes that Marie is just doing this to please her. Marie realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to become a nun just yet.

- (37)Comedy Night: St. Augie’s has a variety show! Everyone does a different act. Father Hargis and Father Bud do a music routine, Janitor Bob sings, JR and Sherry do a magic show, The Lubbock Babes sing, the Lubbock Babes sing again, Graham goes on stage and does a hilarious comedy routine! At the very end the Lubbock’s sing again!

- (38)Poetic Justice: Connie has a crush on her older teacher, Mr. Fleming. When Connie is chosen for the state poetry festival she thinks that Mr. Fleming has a crush on her also. In the hotel room, she thinks that he is buying Connie champagne. Much to her knowledge, the champagne is for his wife, and Mr. Fleming only wants Connie to babysit. In the meantime, (after Connie had already called Wendy) Wendy tells her parents that Connie said Mr. Fleming was sending champagne up to her. Graham drives all the way to Sausalito because he thinks that Mr. Fleming is coming on to Connie. Graham finds out that he is wrong, and came up for no reason.

- (39)Perfect Date: Graham and Elizabeth are sick of Wendy going out with radical boys. So they decide to choose a date for Wendy. Graham and Elizabeth decide to send Wendy on a date with JR’s scout leader. Wendy tries to pull all of the “stops” out on this guy, but when he refuses to kiss her he says she “isn’t his type”. Wendy’s “boyfriend” (a “tough guy”) comes by and tries to take her to a party. When this boyfriend of Wendy’s tries to insult Wendy, her date starts to beat him up. Wendy then realizes that this date of her’s is a lot better than a tough guy boyfriend. They walk back to her house together (his scooter got damaged), but they were late so Graham “forbids” them from seeing each other. However, Wendy sneaks out to see him, and actually “looks decent” according to Marie.

- (40)Snow Job (1): Sister Ethel’s weekend retreat is coming up! Gavin Doosler comes by and tells the girls that he can’t go on Sister Ethel’s retreat, he has to go to his house at the Virgin Islands. Wendy and the girls really want to go to the Virgin Islands. Only one problem, Gavin’s parents don’t trust Wendy, Cindy, or Connie. However, they do trust Marie. So how do they get Marie to go along? They tell him Doosler is dying. In the meantime, Lumberjack days are here, and Graham has to dress up in a costume. JR is making fun of Graham having to do this, so Graham makes him wear a costume too. They all get out of the house without their parents suspecting a thing (however that surprises me since Cindy was wearing summer clothes...LOL). The girls arrive safely and are all ready to have a good time (besides Marie).

- (41)Snow Job (2): The show starts by summarizing the last episodes (read above). The three girls are trying to have a great time, but Connie keeps worrying about Marie. Marie and Gavin have supper together. During the whole dinner conversation, Marie thinks Gavin is dying and Gavin thinks Marie likes him. Connie, Wendy, and Cindy go to a club to dance and have a good time without having to worry about their Dad. Speaking of Graham, Sister Ethel calls and says that the girls are missing. Marie finds out that Wendy was pulling both of their legs the whole time. Marie decides to get them back. Graham and Elizabeth are worried sick because they can’t get through to Sister Ethel (She hung up the last time. If you were a regular watcher of this show you know that Sister Ethel is absent minded.). The girls come home to find Marie in bed with Doosler. :-O Don’t worry it is only a little trick on Marie’s part. The girls fall for it though. Graham finally gets through to Sister Ethel, but she is just as absent minded as before and hangs up. Marie continues the charade by saying she and Doosler are marrying. Marie’s charade works, and the girls feel guilty. Marie comes clean telling them that she was just pulling their leg. They get home, and their parents were worried sick about them, but they tell them that they were bunking with Sister Ethel the whole time. Knowing how Sister Ethel is, Graham and Elizabeth believe them. They almost get away with it until someone “Benito” calls for the girls from the Virgin Islands. All of the girls, including Marie, get in a BIG trouble. At the end Sister Ethel thinks she is bringing home Graham’s daughters, but of course she isn’t.

- (42)False Impressions: The family is going to a mid-evil ball. The girls are all going as someone different. However Cindy and Connie’s costume don’t fit them, but they fit each other so they have to switch. Connie’s costume shows a lot more than she would’ve liked. A guy takes interest in Connie, and this guy asks Connie on a date. Connie begins to suspect that this guy asked her out just because of the way she looked. Connie get furious because this guy did like her because of the way she looked. Connie is also devastated, and learns her lesson. Wendy talks to Connie, and makes her feel a lot better.

- (43)Cindy Breaks a Date: Cindy’s date (Derek) tries to make advances at her. Cindy keeps trying to push him away, and he doesn’t get the message. To get him away, Cindy broke his arm. Derek still comes on to her, after all of this. Because of this, Cindy breaks his other arm. After a talk with Graham Wendy feels worse, but Elizabeth talk to her and makes her feel better.

- (44)Heartbreaker: While the Lubbock Babe’s are singing at the pizzeria a man collapses dad in front of Marie. Marie is devastated, and feels really bad even though it wasn’t her fault. What makes things worse is that this guy left everything to Marie. After a talk with Elizabeth, Marie feels that she is there to please men. Again, after going back to sing, she starts a brawl. Marie is just so confused, and wants to know what God wants of her. Elizabeth tells her to lighten up, and that God doesn’t always shout.

- (45)Ratboy Lives: Graham tries to get his affairs in order, but the lawyer tells him that he has nothing. Graham finds out that his estate is worth: $287.00 (minus $100 for the lawyer costs). Graham is worried about not making something of himself, and JR is feeling down because he is not getting any attention at home. To get attention, JR spray painted on the side of St. Augie’s gym. He sprayed up and down and all around covering the whole side wall. Graham makes JR scrub the whole wall until the spray paint is off. After talking with Elizabeth, Graham realizes how JR must have felt not getting the attention. Graham realizes that his mark on the world is his kids.

- (46)Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em: Graham finds a cigarette in the basement, and wonders who it is. He won’t let any of the kids do anything until one of them gives a full confession. Graham thinks it’s Wendy right off the bat. Each child is suspected, except for Sherry. Each child (aside from Sherry) is drilled with questions. Graham’s suspicions are confirmed when he finds the cigarettes in Wendy’s purse. However, JR had put them there after finding them in Sherry’s bag. Sherry confesses, but no one believes her. Graham and Elizabeth finally believe her. Sherry says that she just wanted to be treated as a teenager (like Wendy).

- (47)Slaughterhouse 10: Graham and JR bring home a cow to have butchered. All of the girls want to keep the cow alive, so the devise a plan. They decide to get the cow pregnant. The cow does get pregnant, and they don’t know how to tell Graham. Graham is disgusted when he finds out the she was pregnant. At the end Graham is happy about the cow, and is excited that cow had a calf. Also Graham decides not to kill the cow, and keep them instead. ]
