Question Movie in which people were shrunk and inserted into a human?

Perhaps somebody can help me name this rather morbid movie I recall seeing when I was really young over 25 years ago.

In this movie, several people equiped with Scuba Gear were shrunk into a very miniature size, and then inserted into the body of a human being - apparently to cure some kind of sickness in the human.

Does anybody recall this movie?

Maybe you're thinking of that film with Martin Short called Innerspace? That's the only one I can think of- though there wasn't scuba gear- it was just one man injected into Martin Short inside a mini-submarine.

There was a movie done in the late sixties called Fantastic Voyage. It featured a submarine like vehicle that was shrunk down and inserted into a man for the purpose of reparing something inside him. It may have been the one you saw.

I don't think Innerspace is even 20 years old yet much less 25.

Yeah, and didn't they end up getting out of his body through his eye? It's been so long since I've seen this movie. I think Raquel Welch was in it.

Yup, that's correct. Innerspace came out in 1987. That's only 17 years ago.
