Sherman was the best in playing the role of a TV characteer with a temper and Bill was average playing a Dad in the 80's. Bill was funny at times but Sherman was always Hysterical with that temper tandrum.

I personally prefer Cosby, and personally think he's better.
But in all reality -- he was just goofing around, being himself.

Therefore -- Sherman was the better actor.

I like Sherman better. He can really make me laugh and that's something that is hard to do. I like Bill Cosby's standup work better than his sitcoms, especially "Bill Cosby: Himself."
