We are requesting that supporters write snail mail letters to ABC. There are other options below. Bonnie Hunt was oh-so-gracious after learning that she had landed a lead comedy actress nomination for her now-defunct ABC comedy "Life With Bonnie." "I'm grateful I had the opportunity to do the show in the first place," she said. The Emmy nom "is nice for my family because it'll make them feel good," she said. "My mom still can't understand how the show can be canceled."

Among the more pleasant surprises: the irony of Bonnie Hunt's comedy-actress nomination for Life with Bonnie, a show that ABC killed presumably because it wasn't as mediocre as the network's other so-called sitcoms.

Too true. I love the irony of Hunt being nominated when Life with
Bonnie was so unexpectedly axed. It's not as if ABC is swimming in

<< Bonnie was apparently not warned or had very, very little warning that the show was going to be pulled Friday night. It will not be back, unless there is a dramatic shift in winds at ABC. The chances of it are between 0% & -10%. ABC & Touchstone are hand in glove.

Her EMMY nomination was a surprise. There were no "for your consideration" tapes or letters sent by anyone. ABC did nothing. Bonnie did nothing. So she got nominated because people really liked her work & maybe wanted to make a statement.

Did ABC spitefully yank LWB because of a surprise, pending Emmy nomination? >>
