Default Top 5 Overrated Movies You Hated?

What do you think the Top 5 overrated movies were?

Mine:
5. Cheaper By The Dozen -It was good, but not as good as everyone said it was.
4. Pirates Of The Carribien - Wow everyone went on about what a spectacular movie this was, and I saw it and it STUNK
3. Spy Kids Sequals (#2 and #3) OK the first one was great, the second one was ok, though it was pretty bad, and the third one STUNK. The plotline was stupid and the whole "Spy Kids" plot had just gotten old. And the third one didnt even make sense.
2- Eight Crazy Nights- I saw this movie- not out of choice, but at a birthday party. Everyone said it was great but I didnt like it. It was just so stupid, the plot hardly made sense.
1- Spider-Man I was never a fan of the whole Batman/Spiderman/Superman thing, I liked the origininal Batman series, though. I never liked the cartoons or the comics though. Everyone I know LOVED Spider-Man but I found it so stupid. I couldnt even finish it, it HAD to be one of the worst movies i have seen.

1. Cheaper by the Dozen - not as good as original. plus everyone makes a big deal out of it.

2. Lord of the Rings-Return of the King - I saw it with my best friend and it was so boring I fell asleep

3. Eight Crazy Nights - Same thing happened with me as with Rurry. Very vulgar and stupid. At my friend's imfamous party the kids had to watch that while the adults got to see "It's a Wonderful Life"

4. A Summer Place - It was sad and I didn't particularly like the plot either. I just hated the way the daughter was treated by her mother

5. Spy Kids 3 - The Spy Kids theme was worn out by the time they got to this one

Rurry I agreed with a lot of the ones you said.

Who's to think about?

And they pull me behind, as I let off the pedal.
Why should I divide what feels so right?
Is this where I want to lay?

Personally I liked "Pirates of the Carribean". I normally don't like Johnny Depp but he was great in that movie. So was Orlando Bloom.

to add to it, I also thought Willem Dafoe was terrible and not menacing one bit, and I also really hated the way they completely changed the character of Harry midway into the movie, going from a teenage slacker to yuppie with two snaps.

OMG, yes...Spy Kids. WTF? I think I saw like 5 minutes of Spy Kids 2 once and I wanted to shoot the TV. WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH? So I won't even bother with 1 & 3.

1. Titanic - The only thing I liked was the special effects, which get an A+ in my book. However, I thought the movie was too long, 3 hours and 14 minutes was too much. I thought this was the most overhyped and overrated film of all time. I think if it wasn't a romance and had a different premise, I would have liked it better. I viewed it as a chick flick.

The worst thing about it was Celine Dion's song for the film, "My Heart Will Go On." I remember radio stations felt the urge to play it ad nauseum as if it were the greatest song ever.

2. Vertigo - I like Hitchcock's movies but I just couldn't get into this one. I couldn't understand the premise of it. I can see why the movie was panned by critics when it was first released and why it didn't too too well in the box office.

Those are the only two movies I can think of.

Sorry, but you will get hell for this, boy. Nah, I won't give you hell.

But I will say that Titanic was as much a sugary, sappy, empty "love story" as it was an action-packed flick. Both of these qualities (which are stereotypically labeled feminine and masculine, respectively) were bad. The film was bad not because it was a "chick flick," but because there was no substance.

don't forget the super-sappy "remix" radio stations played of the song using dialogue from the movie, it was stupid
