Having given permission to male nurse Greg Focker to wed his daughter, ex-CIA man Jack Byrnes and his wife travel to Detroit to "meet the parents", who this time around are Mr. and Mrs. Focker. Now the hyper-relaxed Fockers and the tightly-wound Byrneses are woefully mismatched from the start, and no matter how hard Greg and Pam try, there is just no bringing their families together—which all adds up to a disastrously funny time of “getting to know you.”

Release Date: December 22nd, 2004 .

Meet the Fockers is directed by Jay Roach and produced by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Roach. The writers are John Hamburg, Jim Herzfeld, Tim Rasmussen & Vince DiMeglio. It is executive-produced by Nancy Tenenbaum and Amy Sayres. The film is a Universal Pictures/DreamWorks Pictures co-production and is distributed domestically by Universal Pictures, with DreamWorks Pictures handling the international distribution.

Ben Stiller wanted Barbra Streisand for the role of Mrs. Focker.

Teri Polo accidentally called Barbra Streisand "Boob", which ended up becoming her on-set nickname.

I saw previews for Meet The Fockers & it looks hilarious. LOL@the dog gettin stuck in the toilet & the toilet flushed hahahahahahahahahahahaha. When the dog came out of the toilet, he was blue hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ben Stiller is so funny. I was watchin There's Something About Mary movie last night. What's up with that ******** dude that Ben Stiller & Cameron Diaz was babysittin? LOL.
