Talking Parodies I wish Weird Al had done

"I Want A New Rug" - a parody of Huey Lewis's "I Want A New Drug." "I Want A New Duck?" What kind of parody is that? Al should have done a song about buying new carpet.

"I Want Your Sax" - a parody of George Michael's "I Want Your Sex." Weird Al tries to steal Bobby Keys's saxophone.

"Miss Your Lunch" - a parody of Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much." Weird Al forgot his lunch and wish his best friend hadn't forgotten his.

"Give Me All Your Lemmings" - a parody of ZZ Top's "GIve Me All Your Lovin.'" Weird Al tries to stop lemmings from going to the sea to die.

"Thirty Thieves and the Thunder Chief." People hear this when AC/DC sing "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap." Imagine what Weird Al could do with this!

SteveM I like your list.

Of course mine would be something by Journey.

How about "Broken Arms" for "Open Arms."

This would be a great post for "Weird" Jack Wilso-vic!!!

I, myself, can't even think of anything right now.

But is it me, or does anybody else hear the original song that Weird Al parodied and sing it like Weird Al's version? Everytime I hear "Another One Bites the Dust", I always sing "Another One Rides the Bus"!! And yes, I already know I'm strange.

Those are good ones!

Here's another - "1899," a song about how the Amish celebrate New Year's Eve parodying Prince's "1999." Would've made a great complement to "Amish Paradise!"

How about. . . "Still Losin'" - a parody of the Beach Boys' "Still Cruisin,'" which is a terible song that deserves to be spoofed! Weird Al keeps losing a lot!

I got the ones that Weird Al Yankovic should be working on...

Ode to Classic TV(a meldey parody of Train’s “Play That Song” & “Hey Soul Sister”): Al talks about TV during the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s in the song

Hall of Fame(parody of Terrence D’Arby’s “Sign Your Name”): Al will mention each & every Hall of Fame including Pro Football Hall of Fame, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Hollywood Walk of Fame
