Claire's artsy friends are seriously becoming my least favorite aspect of the show ("You guys have to take a shower with me.") It's starting to irritate me, just seems contrived and boring. I like Claire as the jaded weirdo, when she starts hanging with other jaded weirdos, I'm like enough already. Though I did like Claire's comment at the dinner table about women and people of color not being the only ones who should clear the table.
I was going to say "It looks like Brenda is going through what Nate went through last year, not really wanting to settle down with a particular person, but doing it anyway". But as we saw at the end of the episode, Brenda and Nate might be headed back together, which I felt would happen eventually. I thought it was funny Nate wanting to work at the canine kennel to try to communicate with Lisa Another nice episode for David. I especially liked the scene where he was talking to Claire about the attack. It'll be roughly this time next year, but hopefully when those Emmy nominations are announced, Michael C. Hall will be recognized. |

I though the birthday dinner was hilarious, and the people of color and women clearing the table was funny. Ruth and George fighting, and George giving David that whacky gift, and then Ruth losing control. LOL!!!!! Could Rico be any worse at lying? Your right about Michael C. Hall, he is starting to be the breakout character this year, and he deserves to at least be nominated next year for an Emmy. Great episode. |

I was gonna mention them, but I always forget his name, I was thinking about saying "Ruth's new husband this and Ruth's new husband that" then I just said aww forget it, I can't remember the character's name, don't talk about him.

I wasn't wild over this episode. Brenda and her boyfriend bore me to tears, and I'll be glad if she gets back with Nate. Claire and her band of misfits are a huge yawn too.
David, Keith, and to a lesser degree, Ruth and George, are the only interesting storylines this season. David's birthday dinner was good. The Fishers certainly put the fun in dysfuntional. I did love the scene when Nate surprised David by returning to work. The look of relief and comfort on David's face was incredible. I think Michael C. Hall is emerging as the true star of this show. |
