Hello Im wondering if anyone remembers the name of the young man that went missing after a few psychotic episodes in the 80's. The story was shown this past Friday 7/23/04. After missing for sometime a police officer had seen him laying in the grass on the side of the highway, and thought he was intoxicated, but after taking a breathalyzer test, it showed he wasn't intoxicated just disoriented maybe. He had, two brothers if I remember correctly. Im wondering if there's any update on this young man? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

You're referring to the case of Gordon Page. Unfortunately, he still has not been located.
Here is a thread about him from this board - http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...hreadid=100219 And here is his missing persons profile - http://www.missing-persons.org/lastn..._thomas_jr.htm |

I think you might be confusing two cases. Jim Kimble is the missing person who after his father died had some psychological problems. He lived at a group home for a while then while visiting his family left their home for a walk and never returned. A policeman did stop someone who he thinks was Jim and because he was acting strangely and he passed a breathalyzer and was free to go. Soon after that the policeman saw the missing persons poster and called to report seeing him. I don't know of any update.
Gordon Page was the autistic man who disappeared from a group home. Such a sad story! |

Wait.....which one was playing music with his brothers, then got frustrated and threw his drumsticks? Wasn't that Gordon Page? If I'm wrong, I apologize.

was for lack of a better term "mentally ********" while Jim Kimble wasn't. Kimble could function in society normally while medicated but would have outbursts like the one that lead to his disappearance, personally I feel it's his family's fault as they really were not aware of his problem and at times goaded him. Jim's should have been in a more stable enviorment.
But nope - no update. Later. |
