I went to the mall yesterday and i got the book on G Lo Why you crying. Of coarse i skimmed it for parts where Freddie is mentioned there are several!!!
i will post more when i read it. also on the side- at Freddie's cafe we have a section called the cafe reccomends, it is a critics corner type where you can talk about books you have read and like or even what you didn't like about them. They don't HAVE to be about Freddie so if you like a good read and want to know what some fellow Freddie fans llike check it out! i'm going to post as soon as i finish G LO's book!!! |

Joy. You are absolutely going to love George Lopez's Book. I read his book twice on my trip to Florida and yes Freddie is mentioned frequently in his book. George's book is an awesome read not just because of Freddie but his own struggles and triumphs as well are an up lifting joy to read. I was very pleased with it. I too felt George's pain through his book which left me crying feeling his pain

I bought the G. Lo book on amazon.com after I went to his site through a link here. Once I read all of the stuff he said about Freddie, I had to buy the book.
I really enjoyed the book, and was so happy that Freddie was being remembered by someone who also idolized him, and saw the genius in his comedy act. It is also amazing to read how George worked so hard to achieve his dream. Freddie would be proud of him. I also bought the VHS tape "Why You Crying" after reading George's site, and really enjoyed the tape. He reminded me of Freddie a lot. I think Freddie would have done very similar comedy as George. I could see a lot of Freddie in George, so of course I found myself falling in love with George because of Freddie. I also found I was falling in love with Freddie all over again because of George. Sounds sappy, but true. Sandra |

Yes you are absolutely right It was an excellent read. I do have George Lopez's "why you crying" showtime event saved on my DVR that he mentions Freddie on. If anyone would like a copy please email me @Hue mee's email This is his comedy special called "Why you Crying" It is still airing in one of the Showtime channels if you have it. Check your listings for times and dates. If you do not have it and want a copy please see the above email address.
