Little Miss 1565, the most famous of the unidentified victims of the Hartford, Connecticut circus fire in 1944.
The story of the song "Last Kiss", written by Wayne Cochrane in 1962 to commemorate a grisly traffic accident, which he may have personally witnessed. The best known version of the song is by J. Frank Wilson, who was involved in a very similar accident about 18 months later when his manager Son Roush fell asleep at the wheel. The story of the woman who vanished without a trace from her room in a Paris hotel in 1899. Was it an urban legend or has it some basis in fact? |
