hmmm, I'm an only child and I sort of agree, when I first started school I wasn't too keen on the whole idea of "sharing", I made friends pretty easily, but it was a huge adjustment having other kids around. However, I was lucky in that I had my cousins (anywhere from 4 to 10 years older than me) to learn interaction skills from. I think it depends on how much how much of an effort parents make to not isolate their only child.

I'm not an only child, and my social skills are those of a ****ing tree. I don't agree with this at all.

That is a crock. I was an only child until I was 9 and I kicked arse in early elementary school. I doubt I was out of the norm either.

I don't know. I had 6 siblings and for years I was very shy and afraid of people. Maybe because I didn't get enough attention? LOL Anyway these "studies" have their flaws. One thing that I do believe is that having siblings makes one less self absorbed and self important. I survived!

maybe there wouldn't be a problem if you would LIGHTEN UP.

List of jokes you've taken seriously-

- AKA's Ticondufmsdbd pencil thread
- Brian's 'disturbing news' article
- Me saying "loserrrr" which wasn't directed to anyone whatsoever

is all i can think of

I'm not trying to argue with you, i'm just saying that you take everything too seriously.

Why did you report the thread? The initial post in the thread doesn't violate any rules. Were you reporting the smart aleck replies to the first post? Some people had smart aleck replies to the first post that were unnecessary. All I was doing was posting a news story and making it clear that it wasn't "offensive" and people just had to comment on that instead of leaving it well enough alone
Add that to my list.
