I thought the Ropers were so damn funny. They are my favorite characters. I was kinda sad when they moved out and Furley took their place. Sure he was funny, but he wasn't as good as the Ropers.

"I want my rent!"

"Stanley, where are your manners? When you enter a room, you're supposed to say hello."--Mrs. Roper

My favorite is:

Stanley: I'll take care of you later.

Helen: Promises! Promises!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Naomi: I am not a bleached blonde. This hair is completely natural.

Eunice: I've seen more natural hair on a dime store dummy!

Naomi: Oh I was wondering where you bought your clothes!

I liked Mrs. Roper but Mr. Roper was just annoying to me. I thought Mr. Furley was alot funnier. I was glad when the Ropers left the show.

I always liked Mr. Furley a lot better too, especially when he started hyperventolating.

I always loved how Mr. Furley that he was so sly and a hunk. When he really never had any luck with women.

Mr. Roper wasn't goofy like Mr.Furley, i'm more into laidback comedy rather than Goofy comedy-Mr. Roper was the best

I liked them both. I didn't like RF in season four - he was always mean. At least Roper had a heart, unlike RF in season four. But I thought RF from seasons 5-8 was hillarious! He was goofy, kind, and overall funny . I like the Ropers too, they're my favorites. Stanley was like a Archie Bunker figure when it came to anything about sex.

I really like them both. I think that by the time the Ropers left, the sex jokes were getting a little old. So even though I like the Helen and Stanley, I think them leaving was good for the show.

I miss the ropers when they aren't in the ep's. I know they got their own show after they left, but it was short lived. I wish they never left the show.
