Default I might never come back....

if my Dad takes my computer out of my room.
You see, I have a limit on my computer and I've been having one for about 2 years already. And I've always abused my my limit my going over it.
So last night my Dad gave me my final chance. He said if he ever catches me on the computer for more than one hour a day, he's going to take it out of my room and I'll never get to come here again
I won't even be able to use his computer, or anybody elses.
It'll be a nightmare!!!!
I probably won't get it back for either a loooooooooooooooooooooong time or until I'm 18.

I hope I don't get it taken away. My life is heck without the computer!
I would hate to be away from here for over four years!

Well, than you could just...not abuse the limit
I hope he doesnt do that

But you should explain to your dad that you have tons of friend here and he would be taking away friendships if he did that, and taking away friendship is a terrible thing to do.

Or tell your dad that your life is heck without the comp.

And sometimes parents just say things like that to scare it, your dad might not really mean it.

What is your limit?

I'll try not to abuse the limit, I'm being verrrrry careful! Right now I only have about 20 more minutes on the computer.

I can't tell Dad I have friends on here because my parents don't believe online friends are really your friends, but I don't agree with them.
I would hate to lose my closest friendships. To be honest, I talk with all of yoru guys here more instead of my real life friends.

My Dad knows my life is heck without the computer (I think), but he doesn't really care because he thinks I'm on it too much and it's kinda true.
But I really want computer to be my life!
He shouldn't care if I'm a computer addict. He's lucky I'm not drug addict (which I would never take drugs).

Maybe you could go on for one hour a day from now on
Itll be hard at first, but youll get used to it in a while, and just think, at least youll still be able to come here.
Maybe if your REALLY good from now on your parents will extend your limit.
YOur entering your teenage years and life will probably seem hard but youll grow out of that stage.

Oh what do I know, im only 12

Ok, thanks! But sometimes I get off and on.
I have to go in a few minutes to my Aunt and Uncles house.
I might miss some episodes of WTB, but hopefully I can watch the rest when i get home.

I agree. I would talk with your dad about compromising. You will not be on the internet for too long. Tell him you will compromise on that because you have been writing with people you consider friends, so you feel it's important for you to keep a limit so you won't lose touch with these wonderful people. If he sees you are being sincere about your online friends and are willing to compromise so you won't lose touch with them, then he may realize, "Wow! They are very important to her." Good luck!

I can see how it may seem to people who don't make internet friends how they won't understand having internet friends. If they've never made online friends, then they wouldn't really care. However, we who have made internet friends find it can be a wonderful thing!! I have tons of internet friends - a lot whom I have met in real life. I find it easier to make online friends than offline friends because people get to read what you post and don't judge what you look like. That's a really nice thing.

On the bright side, internet-accessed computers are everywhere. They're found in public libraries, other people's homes, at school, etc. So accessing them might be easier.

Dat sucks, though i've never heard a time limit. I spent all my time whatsoever on my computer, otherwise I go somewhere wit my friends.

Yeah, but sometimes my parents get mad at me for being on the computer too much.

My computer is in my basement, its not in my room.
