Talking Three's Company Biggest Mistake!

I am confused. On the episode, "Strange Bedfellows" when Jack discovers he's in bed with Mr. Roper, he confessed to him at the end of the show that he wasn't gay. But Roper did let Jack stay. Then on the later episodes Roper was suspisious that Jack wasn't gay and would be kicked out. Jack still had to pretend to be gay around the Ropers and Mr. Roper still called him Tinkerbell. What's the deal?

Well in Strange Bedfellows at the end, Roper said Jack did it for him, meaning that he wasn't gay so Roper wouldn't be embarrased...

The whole show revolved around ridiculous misunderstandings and lame schemes.

For instance, last night Nick At Nite showed an episode (Episode #78 "Jack's Graduation), in which Jack's classmate switches his dish with Jack's, causing Jack to fail his assignment, and hence, not graduate. Then, the fab 3 all come up with some lame scheme which basically revolves around the Dean showing up literally minutes before the classmate, so that Janet can keep him occupied in the kitchen and the classmate can be tricked into confessing. The whole plan hinges on this one factor, yet none of them even discuss the possibility that the classmate could show up before the dean, blowing the whole plan. What the hell would they have done then? Did they just tell the dean to show up at 7:02, and then told the classmate to show up at 7:05, and count on that happening?

Low and behold, the dean shows up literally minutes before the classmate, and Janet leads him into the kitchen and somehow keeps him occupied in there for 5 or ten minutes, while the bubblehead uses ridculous tricks in order to get the classmate to confess. All this time, Jack is hiding in the bathroom, and when the classmate needs to use the bathroom, he quickly runs out and hides behind the couch. Of course when the classmate comes out of the bathroom, he for some reason is looking down and to his right, so he can obviously avoid seeing Jack, who is clearly behind the couch and right in his line of sight.

Then the bubblehead gets the classmate to confess, but it wasn't loud enough for the dean to hear. So, Jack sneeks into the kitchen and tells the dean to come into the living room, but he has to be quiet, and then the roommate confesses again, only this time loud enough for the dean to hear. WHAT A RIDICULOUS AND STUPID SHOW! Do you realize how many things had to go right in order for them to pull this off? It was like watching Save by the Bell.

Yah, I know, but Jack still confessed about him not being gay.
