Default 'Rock me Amadeus' -20 yrs later

Did anyone got into that craze of listening to Amadeus over and over again? I was only 9yrs old and spent some time in my room listening to it and driving my mom crazy. What about the video?? Too bad that he was a 'one time wonder' and didn't had any more success.

Here's a sample of his work and of Amadeus in case you was too young to remember or just never listened to it.

More than that, too bad he was killed, but he did have more than one hit. The RMA followup single "Vienna Calling" along with his version of Der Komissar also did well.

He was killed? I never knew that. What happened to him? I love the song "Rock Me Amadeus".

I love "Rock Me Amedeus". It was a rap song from 1986.

New York radio station WPLJ-FM did a parody of "Rock Me Amadeus" called "Eat Me, I'm a Danish" in which the lowly danish compares itself favorably against the favorite yuppie pastry, the croissant. Why didn't Weird Al Yankovic think of this first?

Here is the definitive parody of "Rock Me, Amadeus."

Better believe I did! Every time it came on the radio, I turned that sucker up. "Der Komisser" was another one I really liked.

Sad that he's no longer here.

Well, it hasn't quite been 20 years since RMA, but oh wells... FALCO ROCKED! I felt bad when I heard he died. Rock Me Amedeus is one of my favorite 80s hits, and I've liked all the other songs of his that I've heard.

The video for Rock Me Amedeus was awesome too.
