Default Elementary School Kids

Why do Elementary school kids get so many 2 hour delays, and middle school kids don't?
The only time middle school kids get 2 hour delays is if it's bad weather.

Yes, and it's also mean, rude, and retarted!
Can't elemantary school kids and middle school kids (and high school kids) be treated the same?

If there's bad weather here, the delays are same for every public school in the city/town.

I've only had ONE day where school started late due to weather. All the other days they just shut down the whole day. Remember, here in Alabama, if it just comes a flurry, everyone panics and runs to the store to buy bread and milk.

What I'm trying to say is either everyone is out all day or goes in or gets out at ABOUT the same time(it varies a little because of the buses).

Why do they get 2 hour delays? It's weird they do and you don't.

I will say that here at the high school on exam days(at the end of the semester), they get out early while everyone else stays the whole day.

I enjoyed that in 9th grade.

Where I go to school the grade school is next to the Jr.- Sr. Highschool, so if we get a delay then so do they.

You guys don't get what I'm saying.
Elementary school kids even get a two hour delays for no reason, like maybe if the teachers have to have a meeting.
I'm not talking about bad weather...the only thing I said about that is, the only time all the schools get two hour delays is if it was bad weather.
Get what I'm saying now?

I get what you're saying, but I honestly couldn't tell ya why.

I am probably way wrong, but maybe the younger kids aren't allowed to be in school as many hours as the older kids A possiblity?

If you look at school schedules, the day is longer the higher up in grade school you go anyway. It's because the buses always drop the older kids off first in the morning and pick them up last in the afternoon.

Times have changed then. When I was in elementary school we got out at 3ET. In highschool we let out at 2:40 and many kids that did not take a full schedule got out before then.
