I was on jumptheshark.com and someone said that CATM jumped the first time Chico said - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

"Looking Good". Just wanted to know how do you CATM fans feel about that?

The show never jumped then. Only when Chico died. Even then I still watched the show cuz I liked it & Ed Brown was funny. I love how Chico says LOOKING GOOD!

Our Freddie was wonderful and his "Loooooking Goooood" was a trademark.....anyone who didnt realize that just didn't know enuf about the show to understand him. I can only say that I was not thrilled with the show when they felt the need to bring Della on...even tho I loved Della....it seemed they felt that Chico and Ed werent carrying the weight and there was a need for additional characters. I DO think it jumped the shark after Freddie's passing.... The kid was cute...but he was NO CHICO.

who pointed out on here earlier that she thought the addition of della was not because chico and ed were not carrying their weight but because the cantankerous attitude of ed toward chico turned to a friendly, family tyoe oone and they needed somneone for ed to fight with.
it was either macca or lucky but i do love the addition of her, it only saddens me because i know Freddie's episodes are numbered when she come on
