Angry Hate GSN

GSN's new lineup is horrible, what happened when I first started watching gsn in 2001 they're lineup was sooooo much better. they had "charades", the OLD "hollywood squares" "whammy" and sooooo much more. these new game shows are horrible and don't even make any sence. and some of them are show's that were cancelled from other networks.

I remember when GSN (probably call it the old GSN) used to show old game shows like "Win, Lose or Draw", "$10,000 to $25,000 Pyramids", the original "Hollywood Squares", the syndicated 70's shows like "To Tell the Truth", "I've Got a Secret" and "What's My Line?" and those other ones like classic episodes of "The Price Is Right". The new schedule for GSN look bad with too much reality shows and one classic I love is "Match Game". I was very, very sad. I know that the old GSN died on March 15th of this year. I put my signature last spring that it says "R.I.P. Game Show Network 1994-2004".

There are plenty of things in 2005 that GSN have done for me that I liked as far as older shows go.

Although I definitely didn't enjoy the period from 3/15/04 to 4/4/05 because there weren't many shows I enjoyed.

The only thing I really hate about GSN is their way of splitscreen credits.

btw, beginning January 2nd the original PYL is returning to the weekday lineup at 12:30 eastern.

I would be screaming GSN sucks too had it not been the arrival of Super Password, Password Plus and the return of Pyramid on 4/4/05. Of course more classic additions would be awesome!

Oh...I totally despise that!! It's such a treat when they occasionally forget and we get to see full credits.

Question

By the way, is "Match Game", one of my favorite shows still remain on GSN?

Match Game comes on several times a day actually:

Weekday mornings, syndie 1979-1982 at 9:00 am ET
Weekday afternoons, '79 daytime at 3:30 pm ET
Late Nights, weeknights at 2:30 am ET
Weekend mornings, syndie 1979-1982 at 11:00 am ET
Weekend afternoons, '74 daytime at 3:00 pm
Weekend afternoons, '79 daytime at 3:30 pm

MG is one of GSN's highest rated oldie shows.

Also, January 2, 2006, GSN is will have a new '70's Hour at 11:00 pm and it includes Match Game.

Yeah, there are plenty of things in the past few months that GSN has done that I love them for:
a) showing a week of Tattletales
b) celebrity tributes (including IGaS, two 1966-67 color Password eps, and eps of Bruner/Blyden WML?)
c) Two for the Money on Thanksgiving weekend
d) showing a week of Tattletales in February (this was the ONLY good result of that train wreck American Dream Derby)
e) showing two TTTT'80 episodes and one '77 TTTT ep
f) having all three versions of Card Sharks (Perry/Rafferty/Eubanks)
g) 4/4/05
h) Saturday Night Classics (they did that for a few weeks)
i) Super Millionaire when it first came on
j) dumping the rerun abused season 4 of Bergeron Hollywood Squares for seasons 5 and 6 of H2
k) A Betty White Christmas on Dec. 25 from Noon-5pm (which includes episodes of shows such as Body Language, Tattletales, Password Plus, Password, What's My Line?, and $100k Pyramid and a few others)
l) $100,000 Pyramid Marathon this New Year's Eve from Noon-6pm, which is CREDIT-CRUNCH FREE!
m) and of course all my other favorites that are on, Beat the Clock, WML?, Password Plus, Super Password, Card Sharks, Match Game, Family Feud, H2 and PYL

Also like I said, on 1/2/06 they're putting PYL on weekdays so, that's another goodie and even though I didn't even like George Gray Weakest Link, they're replacing the rerun abused Anne Robinson version with that.. I think it's a refreshing change. So I must say that in my eyes in 2005 and 2006, the games are really indeed back on GSN!

At least some of you have watch GSN.AS for me,unless you have digial cable, you can forget about it!!All I ever wanted was to see one, just ONE(or two,or three, ect)classic episode of The Hollywood Squares(with Peter Marshall).Maybe by the time my cable company finally put this channel on its so-called "family-friendly" package(so ALL can see),I hope too better senses prevail and they go back to the classics and try to find more;not reruns of "Fear Factor","Survior",of whatever else they think is a game show.

The only show worth anything IMO, is "What's My Line?" I have to stay up until 1:30 MST to catch it. Maybe an old black and white, but it is not as insane as most of the others. The old "Beat the Clock" is better than that sickening "I've Got a Secret" now. Their laughs are more than annoying, and could care less about someones sexual preferences. Where O where do they find these people? Give me the old original black and whites anyday, please! And please spare me of this other garbage. My TV is tuned somewhere else or left OFF.
