The Movie Fame
I was watching the movie "Fame" this morning. It was interesting seeing the references of Freddie mentioned off and on in the movie. One guy wanted to be a comedian because he thought Freddie was the greatest. During an excericise in an drama class The same guy spoke of his heartache of Freddie's death stating it was an accident and not a suicide. I thought is was interesting and a great little tribute to Freddie

The performing arts high school that Freddie went to was the one that is portrayed in the movie & tv show of Fame. I thought that was neat...

cool i didn't know that. You were referring to the movie that launched the series tho right? does anyone know if there are/were any references to Freddie in any of the episodes of the series?

yep the movie... I seen it on HBO indemand and thought I haven't seen that movie in ages and totally forgot about that Freddie was mentioned in the movie till now
