I know that when Jack worked for Mr.Angelino, and the chef who worked for him was named Felipe. But, if you remember when Jack opened his own restaurant toward the end of the pilot, he opened Jack's Bistro, are you with me? There was a blonde haired surfer dude who used to sleep in his van and was the chef who worked for Jack. My sister and I can not come up with his name, any takers out there? Help us, it is driving us crazy. Thanks, Scotty

In the other message thread about the disappearance of Felipe, it was established that Felipe continued to work as a chef at Angelino's and only helped out occasionally at Jack's Bistro. So that said, who was the head chef at Jack's Bistro before Three's A Crowd? It was unlikely Jack himself because he worked most of the time as the host and waiter who served the customers. So who worked in the kitchen?
I see on this thread that EZ Taylor was on Three's A Crowd, but was he or anybody else a chef during the actual Three's Company series? There is only one instance in which I remember seeing a chef other than Felipe or Mr. Furley in that one episode: In the episode "Star Struck" about the soap opera star Brett Wade proposing to Terri, there is a scene in which Jack noticed Brett Wade with another woman at the restaurant. At that point, he enters the kitchen and tells a young male chef that he is excused and can leave for the evening. The chef says thanks Jack and leaves. The name of this chef is not in the credits and you don't get a good look at him. Anyways, it might be assumed that this young man was the head chef at Jack's Bistro. Can it be ascertained whether or not he was EZ Taylor? |

In the 8th season, in the ep. "Out On A Limb", there was a fellow named 'Dan' working in the kitchen...he is the one who told Jack that they were out of the item that Jack had recommended that the food critic order.
Hey, I also found that a local station (Ch 36 in SF Bay Area) is airing TC at 3:30 every weekday afternoon. I can start seeing two eps a day during the week again. Woo-hoo!!! |
