...who would win?
I say Antonio would. At least he knows what a yellow light means! Say, what does a yellow light mean?

Antonio would win because Rev. Jim would start spacing out at the stop light, and stare into that big wonderful red light. Then all of a sudden the light would change to green, and he would flip out, and think it was some kind of act of God, or a sign of some kind

That's all they need is a crazy rev. who stares at bright lights and becomes amazed. I feel so sorry for the passenger.
Btw, yellow lights can mean two things. 1. Speed up if you don't see a cop. 2. Get out of the car if your driver is rev. jim. |

Looks like Antonio is winning 3-0. I bet I'd get different responses if I asked this on the Taxi board. Or not
I must admit, I think Reverend Jim's driving test was so much funnier than anything Antonio ever did <runs for cover> |

Jim would win because on "Taxi" he always came through in the clutch. Saving his liquor license at Marios, saving Louie's ass, impressing his estranged father at the last minute- Jim did what he had to do. Antonio was too much a whiney loser.
Sorry. |

I see your point there, Diemond. I bet early Antonio could probably find a way to beat Jim and even have fun in the race. Later seasons Antonio would probably just whine and throw a hissy fit because he was starting to lose.
I love both characters, but Antonio became such a pain at times near the end of Wings. |

Don't get me wrong, I like Antonio to a certain extent- and I am a big fan of Tony Shalhoub.
I just think that Jim always came through when everyone doubted him. That really wasn't Antonio. |
