Default TV Shows that finished well below number #1 that you feel was underrated?

I would have to say Baby I'm Back from 1978 starring Demond Wilson, Step by Step, and Fresh Prince

Under One Roof
Liveshot
Dangerous Minds
Freaks & Geeks
Arrested Development
etc., etc., etc.,
That could be a long list, there have been more shows that have never been #1 in the ratings than shows that have

The Odd Couple. Why that never cracked the Top 25 I'll never understand.

Arrested Development.

I believe it finished at 100 this year.... yet it has consistently been called (by myself and critics) the best show currently on TV.

I'd say Party Of Five which ran from 1994-2000 and never made it anywhere near the top 40 or 50. It was such a well-written and amazing show with solid acting. I loved this show. Also ABC's briefly lived series My So-Called Life starring Claire Danes. ahh the good ole days of classic drama.

WKRP (only finished in top 25 once)
Amen (believe it was 20-30 or above most of its run)
The Odd Couple
Arrested Development
Spin City (besides season one, its ratings were mostly above #25)

I honestly don't know what its peak was in the ratings, but I'm sure that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was never #1 for the week. I think that was the most underrated show that deserved to be on the top 10 ratings chart.

You're right. since it was on The WB (and later UPN) Buffy never charted anywhere near the top 10. In fact it was usually somewhere between 90 and 100. the highest a wb program has ever charted is somewhere in the mid-70's to early-80s and that is always 7th Hevean. and in the early days Savannah was often times in the mid-70s as well.

Amen was in the teens for one season I think.
Frank's Place, this show was amazing and should have been number 1.
