Click Here to Read Article in its Entirety From a technical aspect, Method & Red is a mess. The lame writing and dry synthetic laugh track emit a stench of incompetence. This show will not succeed. However, Method & Red deserves attention from the whole country. The show evokes memories of images that have not been seen on national primetime television since the 1950’s... Popular hip-hop artists referenced on Method & Red are Sean Combs and 50 Cent. These artists use catchy images of female models, cars, jewelry and “street” vernacular as fodder. Fodder that consumers graze on like sheep. Method & Red attempts to apply this formula to a sitcom; the result is a modern day Minstrel Show... There is no turning back now. The show is not an intelligent spoof. There is no clever double meaning. This is not a modern day All in the Family. The word “ingenious” will never again be seen in the same sentence as Method & Red. It should be taken at face value. The media has an undeniable vice grip on the developing minds of the youth. There is also a significant social impact on society in general. Americans give media corporations overwhelming power and wealth. Unfortunately there is no effective system of checks and balances in place. These same Americans who giveth are the only ones that can taketh away. It is the responsibility of each American to hold these corporations responsible when they abuse their power... ...The race card needs to be pulled, but the appropriate suits are spades and clubs...
