Cool A hard choice....

I know I am probably going to tax all of your brains on this one, so I will make the poll one that you can vote for more than one thing, but I am curious.... which season do you think Freddie was at his best?

I suppose in my case it depends on the mood I am in.

I have been watching him in the first season lately and I must say that I have been enamored with his youthful innocence. I look at him in the first season and I see Freddie in his most purest, before the business got to him.... I suppose it makes me just want to grab him and give him a big hug and protect him from what lies ahead...

Cause I still think he looked his best in the second season and I admire his maturity in the third season. So.... what do you all think???

What a great question Luckymama but a hard choice! I too love his younger youthful looks in the first season. The second season was great as he began to look sexier. The third season however was just as good if not better. Yet we all know what he had went through. Freddie looked older yet in a sense still very sexy in his own way. I loved how he looked in the facelift episode, I love his inoncents in the pilot, I loved him in the Chico's padre episode

This was hard.. I chose the 2nd season only because I felt he was looking so HOT and I really enjoy watching him play Chico.

My 2nd choice is Season #1.

As for season #3 it's very hard for me to watch him in season #3. I am watching him waste away and I'm not happy with what I see. In the 70's I didn't even notice him wasting away....

Default Truly Tough Decision!

How do I love thee....let me count the ways! lol

ANY WAY, ANY TIME! We love You...ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

I think I like the second season the best. He looked very handsome and still had a sweet twinkle in his eye. Much as I love him, some of that sparkle was gone in the third season. As gifted as he was with his art, you could see a man beneath the smile that seemed to lack a smile.

I may be the only one but i like the 3rd season the best, he was so handsome, his dimples so...dimply and his hair at my favorite length for him and he had more of a sexy fiestiness about him...i loved him in the IRS episode when he was pacing in the office and i want to melt everytime i see the black tie blues epsiode.
but as far as his health and humor, his humor was more active in the first season and he looked so like the tough kid on his own that he was portraying I loved him there too.
so i have to say season #3 first #1 second and than #2 third

Default Freddie at his best

I have to agree with Joy. I think Freddie looked sooooooooo sexy in the third season. I never thought he looked that thin or gaunt..when I watch those shows I just drool. He went from babyfaced innocence in the first season..to hot in the second season to just plain sexy in the third season. I think the only show that revealed his problems was the one where he moved out to get his own apartment..other than that..he looked too hot to handle. He had grown from a kid and was now maturing into a man. So....I pick the 3rd season. Freddie...you are hot no matter what season..and as for me...I'm not looking at him to see if I can notice any sadness or drug use...I'm just enjoying his talent, his great smile, gorgeous hair, beautiful smile framed by those remarkable dimples and always the bright twinkle in those magnificant eyes.

I started watching CATM during the 2nd season. I knew nothing at all about Freddie Prinze at that time. I thought he was quite handsome and funny. I did think he acted like he may have been on "something" a few times and that's when I started reading a lot of magazines, and articles about him. By the 3rd season I had become so mesmerized by his extreme good looks, his maturity, and his talent that I couldn't care less about any of the negative things that were being published about him. I agree with Joy and Macca in regards to the 3rd season being my favorite.

I liked the first season the best for the reasons luckymamma mentioned. He looked so sweet and innocent and his acting was so enthousiastic and carefree. I haven't really gotten to the third episode yet, it is still hard for me to watch CATM, yet the pictures I have seen of him in the third episode are painful for me to look at. He looks to emaciated. Not healthy. Perhaps I would think differently seeing him in action in CATM, yet for now, I am voting for Season one.
