Default Ground beef and Mad Cow Disease

I am starting to become more and more worried about eating ground beef. The reason is because I fear that I will get Mad Cow Disease. The beef industry says that it is safe to eat ground beef and are confident about it but it does nothing to allay my worries. I think I'm just going to stop eating ground beef for a while.

Er. Beef gives me a horrific headache most of the time. I think I'm allergic.. so I don't usually eat it in huge amounts. I'm not a meat fan, anyway.

Beef is delicious, you probably just don't know how to cook it right.

Just don't eat it undercooked. No pink. There's nothing appetizing about pink hamburger anyway.

And really, if you were to be afraid of every food that might make you sick, you'd die of starvation. You can get just as sick eating tainted chicken or pork or turkey of fish.

And another thing, there's certain vitamins and minerals that you can only find in beef. So all in all, meat and beef in general, is VERY good for you.
