Some friends and myself are going to be going down to Disney World in August..we're all 17. Are they going to give us a hard time when we check into the hotel? Everyone keeps saying you need to be 18. I don't see what the big deal is, it's on a credit card already.

They are only trying to cover their ass legally.

I mean there is the chance you could slip through the cracks.

I would take the oldest looking one of you to check in and everyone else just hang back.

Well yeah because minors can't sign contracts, and getting a hotel room is pretty much a contractual thing.

Yeah, unfortunately you can't be considered a 'minor' to check into a hotel. Trust me. I would have been long gone by now.

Well we all do have ID's that say we're older. How illegal would that be?

THe fine for a fake ID is not worth a night or 2 in a hotel room.
