this list is stupid. its just a pile of everyone's opinion's you can't really say Britney Spears & Meryl Streep are more popular than one or another. Its just genre and age. I mean, I bet every 14 year old girl has heard of Britney Spears but I bet half of them they couldn't name one movie that Meryl Streep has been in. Or take an older aged women. Ask her to name the title of the latest Britney Spear's song, or ask her to name a Meryl Streep movie. The Genre is totally different.
This basically turns into an 'your favorite hollywood women' list not most popular. |

right now, I'd probably rank it like this (just at the moment, Julia and Sandra have both ranked higher before IMO)
1. Nicole Kidman 2. Halle Berry 3. Cameron Diaz 4. Renee Zelweger 5. Julia Roberts 6. Drew Barrymore 7. Kirsten Dunst 8. Sandra Bullock 9. Catherine Zeta-Jones 10. Jennifer Aniston just moviewise. Unfortunately it shows the sexism that prevails in Hollywood, Sandra is the only person on the list who is 40 (I think she just turned 40), whereas if you did a male list, you'd probably find a few over 40's who are on the list |

I think Jennifer Lopez has fallen a few notches. Her last movie really knocked her off the track and her last couple singles weren't very popular. I think people just finally got their fill of her after having her shoved down our throats and being told she's some sort of talented singer for 3 years
