Jem! - Season 3, Pt 1 has been annouced! Full info inside! Posted by David Lambert 7/11/2004 The other week, we received a note from a reader named "Martijn", who told us that the Truly Outrageous! Jem Mailing List (warning: lots of pop-ups at that link) had sent around a note to the mailing list which contained the episodes that creator Christy Marx said would be on the Jem! - Season 3, Part 1 DVD release: DVD ONE The Talent Search 1 The Talent Search 2 Scandal One Jem Too Many The Bands Break Up The Fan Fathers Day DVD TWO The Treasure Hunt Aztec Enchantment Music Is Music The Jazz Player Danse Time Roxy Rumbles Alone Again DVD THREE KJEM Trick or Techrat The Presidential Dilema Rock 'n Roll Express Mardi Gras We hesitated to publish this, because the info may have been sent around to the Truly Outrageous mailing list, but I can't seem to find it at their actual website. Nor had Rhino published it...yet. Now we have confirmation directly from Rhino Home Video about those episodes being on this title. We've also confirmed the street date, which we first mentioned here, is indeed going to be August 31st. Price is $49.95 SRP, for over 7 hours of feature. Video is 1.33:1, and audio is available both in original broadcast mode, and in an optional 5.1 Dolby Stereo soundtrack. Besides the original, uncut episodes of the show, there are some extras on this release as well. Interviews with the cast and writers are present, and part of Martijn's forwarded letter from the mailing list passes on Christy Marx's statement that " it will have an interview with Britta Phillips, who flew in from New York to do it." In case you forgot, Britta Phillips was the singing voice of Jem herself. Final cover art isn't available yet, but we'll post it just as soon as it is. Stay tuned and we'll bring you that, and any more info that any little birdies sing at us. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=1862 Ahhh, such awesome news. I can't wait until I have the entire series in my possession. That way I can watch the episodes whenever I want at my own pace
