Hi everyone,
I was searching the board and could not find any info on a case I remember. I think it aired sometime in the '96 season. I remember 3 ladies going out on a nighttime boating trip. They very quickly heard another boat motor in the background. When they looked up, all the saw was the bottom of this boat which had flew over. The propeller caused injury to one of the ladies and she had to have plastic surgery. Very sad case, I remember hearing the boat would need major repairs to the engine, and maybe the structure. Not sure of the color, maybe some kind of blue pinstripe? Was there an update to this case? Regards |

No, that case hasn't been updated. But the boat has been referred to as cigarette-styled.

Thanks for the info. I have only seen the case a couple of times. I always think why this person would do something like this. Unsolved Mysteries never really said what his motives might be. He could have been trying some kind of boat stunt, maybe trying to impress the lady that was with him. I really think he was trying to spook those women on the other boat. After he had pulled his little stunt, I remember he and his lady friend just watched across the water and never said a word. It's sad nothing has ever happened to the person who did this.
