What syndicated classic sitcoms are in your area?
We have sitcoms here (i.e. Roseanne), but not classic (classic meaning pre late 80's). |

I refuse to respond to this thread because it supports the fact that a show has to be old to be classic.
But, since Im responding anyways, and although I still believe shows currently airing are just as classic as shows from the 50s, I should share my knowledge. The only sitcom pre-late-80s that airs on my local channels is Cheers. |

I didn't say that all classics were pre-80's, I was just curious what older shows air in syndication. Read a little carefully next time.

I Love Lucy (and occasionally We Love Lucy and Season 1 of the The Lucy Show), The Andy Griffith Show, and Cheers air on the local WB.
Happy Days airs once a week on the local ABC. And...sadly...that's about it. |

On the local Fox (KTTV 11 in Los Angeles) station, they air I Love Lucy weekdays at 11 & 11:30am, plus weekend afternoons 4-5:30pm (if not pre-empted by sports). They also air M*A*S*H overnights, plus Sunday afternoons (again, if not pre-empted by sports) and late nights.
On KTLA 5, L.A.'s WB, they air Andy Griffth afternoons at 2 & 2:30pm, and some Sunday afternoons at 12:30pm. Taxi also airs weeknights at 12:30am. I remember back about 10-12 years, this station aired a block of The 3 Stooges, Munsters, and Gidget/Monkess on weekend afternoons from 12-3pm. KCBS (and sometimes KCAL) air All in the Family on the weekends. |
