What is the correct spelling of *Richie*'s name. Is it Richie or Ritchie?

I've always seen it listed as Richie.

Richie - for some reason a lot of people spell it Ritchie (the same with "Richie" Cunningham on Happy Days).

I remember seeing it spelled Ritchie. IN THE OLD TV GUIDES.

While reading Mary's book "After All" I noticed that she always refered to her son as "Richie" and her television son as "Ritchie". I'm now starting to think that it was "Ritchie" although most people now spell it "Richie".

I read her book "After All" too and it said that while she was reading the script she noticed that the name Richie was misspelled.

You can't really misspell a name. Maybe they wanted it to be Ritchie for some reason.
