I have this picture and I edited it with Paint but now when I try to put it as my avatar it says "The uploaded file is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please ensure that it is and try again". How do I get it to work?

If you used paint chances are you saved it as a .bmp You need to save it as a gif or jpg.

- open the picture in paint
- go to file > save as...
- in the box under the filename, click the arrow and click on JPEG (GIF usually messes it up in paint)
- save
