Default Ray, Willona's ex episode

Of course I have a problem with some things here, LOL.

Willona supposed to be so head strong. He sweet talks her back, in a way. She was even telling everyone about them maybe getting back together. I think kids too. Hold up, didn't she cancel a wedding cake at the end?

He was ugly. She always talk about fine, and that's what her ex looked like??

He had the hots for Thelma- hell, she was hot!!! I guess he thought, "what the hell".

I like Florida: "alright Ray, you get your nickle slick bones out of my house"

JJ trying to look mad.

I never took J.J seriously when he tried to act like he was mad.

Exactly! Whenever he tried to express himself emotionally, it was so awful.

I was cringing yesterday, watching the "No More Mr. Nice Guy" episode where he yelled at Michael then stalked off....oy!!

The guy who played him was Carl Lee. His father was a very respected actor named Canada Lee. Carl was one of the first African American actors to get an emmy nomination in 1964 for an episode of The Nurses in which he costarred with Ruby Dee and Claudia McNeil the actresses who played on Broadway and in the film version of A Raisin in the Sun. He looked a bit drugged out in his Good Times appearance either because of the portrayal or maybe something in his personal life.

How about that? Ray just made a pass at his sister and he's laid back about it.

Michael knew J.J was nothing but a joke which is why he threw J.J over the couch when he was on his way to the"Lawyers of Tomorrow Dinner"-LOL And Michael only came back because he felt sorry for him.

He looked just like his father, too. Carl was probably still hooked when he did Good Times and everything else, because according to the Internet Movie Database he passed away in 1989 of a heroin overdose.

That's terrible to hear. Funny how some performers can't hide their drug habits through their performances. Even in that 1964 show he looked kind of manic, which enhanced the characterization actually.

I watch this ep today and when Florida made the nickle slick bones comment, you could hear that Florida really couldn't say that line in a angry way because she was trying very hard to stop from laughing. You can her laugh a little bit after saying that line.
